    LuAnn's passion for senior living interior design inspired her to launch a company exclusively dedicated to it. Her extensive experience has guided Thoma-Holec Design's process since 2006, resulting in award-winning, welcoming spaces within senior living communities throughout the US and Canada. Her vision has been successfully demonstrated in hundreds of communities, where residents enjoy home-like surroundings with remarkable amenities that showcase each community’s commitment to hospitality. LuAnn’s team of talented designers has earned numerous national, regional and local awards.   • Keith Stanton
    FASID, NCIDQ, CID – Director of Design Development
    Keith grew up in Chicago and frequently visited installation art exhibitions. He was drawn to the energy humans have to transform the physical space. After attending art school at Arizona State University, he lived in Westchester County, NY, Washington, D.C., and Brooklyn, NY. Having spent time in the photography, internet, sculpture, visual merchandising and exhibit design industries, Keith decided to officially culminate his life experiences into an Interior Design degree, from Scottsdale Community College. Keith brings a wealth of knowledge about high-end residential and hospitality design to Thoma-Holec. Keith earned his BFA, Intermedia, Arizona State University and AAS, Interior Design, Scottsdale Community College. He resides in Scottsdale with his wife, a beagle and a somewhat domesticated cat. He is a nationally exhibited photographer, runner and cyclist in his spare time. Affiliations:

  • Tabitha Evans
    Senior Interior Designer and President of ASID AZ North
    Tabitha grew up in Arizona and joined the US Army. She had the opportunity to travel outside the US and live in places like South Korea and Italy. After extensive travels and seeing so many beautiful places and things, she knew Interior Design was where she belonged. Tabitha is passionate about creating spaces that transform the lives of the people who use the spaces. She believes design impacts the end users health and wellness. Senior living interior design is a natural fit for her passion and beliefs.  Tabitha earned a Bachelor of Arts in Interior Design, Graduated with Honors – Art Institute of Phoenix, AA. She resides in Phoenix with her husband, two sons, and daughter. Affiliations:

  • Suzanne Tate
    Senior Interior Designer
    Suzanne grew up in Kansas attending client visits and installs with her mother, who owned her own custom drapery and interior design business.  After graduating from the University of Kansas with a degree in Architecture Studies in 2000, Suzanne began her career in design.  Since then, she has designed airports, airplane hangars, schools, military bases, office spaces, orthodontic offices, condo buildings, residential homes, investment properties, and landscapes.  Suzanne earner her BS at University of Kansas in Architecture Studies. In addition, she held a real estate license in three states, helping clients purchase, renovate, and decorate their new homes. Suzanne’s true passion is creating beautiful spaces people interact with and experience on a regular basis. She is truly excited to be a part of the Thoma-Holec team where she can create inspiring spaces that will influence so many people every day. After living in Kansas, Missouri, California, and Illinois, Suzanne and her family have decided to call Arizona their permanent home.  She currently lives in Chandler with her husband, two children, and two very fluffy dogs.
  • Shahlla Zahedi
    Senior Interior Designer
    Shahlla is an accomplished interior designer, in both commercial and residential spaces. With more than 20 years of experience in interior design, Shahlla brings to Thoma-Holec Design an exceptional design expertise to strengthen our team of design excellence. Shahlla’s outstanding talent and her degree in Environmental Design from Purdue University helped launch her career as an interior designer in the commercial arena where she worked on large projects including Atlantis Beach Tower Sales Gallery, Lyle Anderson Company, and Avnet Showrooms. Her love of interior design and architecture has included a very strong emphasis on marketing centers, corporate offices, exhibits, and public facilities. Shahlla earned her Bachelor of Design in Environmental Design- Perdue University Lafayette, Indiana. Her keen eye for design is evident in all aspects of her creativity which seems to know no bounds. Designing and conceptualizing beautiful spaces for Thoma-Holec Design have allowed Shahlla to showcase her amazing attention to detail. Affiliations:

  • Amy Wenger
    Senior Interior Designer
    Amy joined the Thoma-Holec Design team in August 2017. In her role, she focuses on designing interiors for re-positioning, rebranding and remodeling existing senior living communities. She has a true passion for interior design, specifically for senior living, and values her ability to create beautiful and functional interiors for those in later life. Amy earned her Associates Degree in Interior Design at Waukesha County Technical College Pewaukee, WI. She enjoys hiking and has a goal to hike through the Appalachian Trail, and is a master scuba diver. She recently moved to Phoenix from Wisconsin where she has lived most of her life. Amy has a husband of almost 30 years, a son, daughter-in-law and granddaughter. Her family also includes a Chesapeake Labrador named Mia, and a cat named Karl. Affiliations:

  • Kym Cox
    Senior Interior Designer
    Kym is originally from Washington State, but has come to love the desert. She attended Washington State University as a pre-med Pharmacy student, but quickly realized her talents were better served in the design industry, particularly interior design. After studying abroad and traveling to different countries, she learned how important a beautifully designed space is connected to a person’s overall mood and reflection of life. Kym earned her Bachelor of Arts in the School of Design + Construction at Washington State University. She has a dedication and determination to create spaces that are full of passion, uniqueness, creativity and of course, functionality. Thoma-Holec gives her the chance to design beautiful spaces that will enhance the everyday life of seniors.
  • Qingmeng Yao-Lamb
    Interior Designer
    The first time Qingmeng started to learn drawing was at age 16. She practiced basic drawing skills for a few years, and eventually stepped into the interior design field of study. Before completing a Masters in Interior Architecture and Design in the spring of 2012, she worked on a few residential projects in China, but wanted to expand her professional skills in interior design, so Qingmeng came to the United States. Masters of Fine Art in Interior and Architecture – Academy of Art University, San Francisco and her Bachelor of Art and Design at Yunnan University, Kumming, Yunnan, China. She now enjoys her time with Thoma-Holec Design and looks forward to continuing her career and strives to give it her best on every single project.

  • Cherie Young
    Assistant Designer
    Cherie is a native Arizonian. After her high school graduation, she went on to attend the Moody Bible Institute in Chicago, IL. After one year of studies, Cheri transferred to Scottsdale Community College where her course of study focused on Interior Design. During college, she worked as a student intern at Habitat in their Model Home Merchandising Division. At completion of her internship, Cheri continued to work in the Model Home Merchandising division as an interior design assistant. Cherie earned her Associates of Art Degree in Interior Design at Scottsdale Community College. She is a dedicated and involved mother of three children. Her organizational skills, creativity and reliability allow her to multitask with her assistant design responsibilities as well as keeping up with her active family.
  • Cameron Shorts
    Assistant Designer/ Procurement Assistant
    Cameron has always had a passion for bringing joy to others. Originally a music major, he decided to change his focus in order that he might bring a longer lasting joy to others through the practice of interior design. A Northern California native, Cameron moved to Arizona to finish school and ended up staying after completion. Cameron earned his Bachelor of Arts in Interior Design, graduating with honors, from The Art Institute of Phoenix. He began a student internship with Thoma-Holec Design in October 2015, and was soon after hired as a junior designer. He is excited for the opportunity to expand his knowledge in the field of interior design, and bring joy to as many people as possible through design.
  • Terry Yang
    Interior Design Assistant
    Terry joined the Thoma-Holec Design team in August, 2017. He came to the US in 2013 to pursue his college degree. Since completing his degree, he is excited to put his skillset to use in his role as an assistant interior designer, including architectural, interior visualization and animation renderings. Terry earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Interior Design from Arizona State University. He is an outgoing person and always want to try out new things. He loves traveling and meeting new people. His father is an architect which is where his influence came from.
  • Carol Moses
    Office Administrator / Accounting
    Carol is responsible for all internal accounts payable and receivables. With over 15 years’ experience performing accounting and bookkeeping functions for interior design firms; Carol is responsible for all internal accounts payable, receivables, and procurement tracking. Prior to joining Thoma-Holec Design she was employed at MGA Interiors and Habitat, Inc. in the accounts payable department.
  • Paula Lieberman
    Procurement Manager
    Paula has worked 25+ years in New York City within commercial interiors firms as a furniture consultant/project manager to large corporate clients. Projects included New York Public Library, United Nations Headquarters, Goldman Sachs NY Headquarters, Whitney Museum of American Art, Brooklyn Supreme + Family Courthouse. “Having spent my career facilitating design and servicing the end user market, I have lived my entire life on the East Coast and decided to move to Arizona 2015. I loved watching “the winter that was” on TV rather than outside of my own kitchen window. Eager to begin Paula: Part 2 in the Southwest. Free time with my family, reading non-fiction and trying to find places to just walk – without threat of snakes sharing my path.”
  • Leslie Snyder
    Senior Technical Designer
    Leslie began working in the model home industry immediately out of college but soon discovered a love for helping people heal through beautifully designed spaces. She has been working in the healthcare industry for 16 years and has a passion for bringing comfort to patients, families and staff members by creating spaces that are nurturing, peaceful and creative yet extremely functional. She has worked on all sizes of projects from small sales centers, Community Recreation Centers on up to large multi-story Hospitals. She loves seeing a project through all phases and has 20 years of experience putting together projects from Design Development, Construction Documentation on through Construction Administration. Her favorite part is walking into a space and hearing patients, family members and staff talking about how much a space has brought comfort and peace to their time spent in a facility. Leslie earned her Bachelors of Science in Interior Design at University of Arizona in Tucson, in addition, she completed a Summer Abroad Program at the Denmark Design School.
