Her extensive experience has guided Thoma-Holec Design's process since 2006, resulting in award-winning, welcoming spaces within senior living communities throughout the US and Canada. Her vision has been successfully demonstrated in hundreds of communities, where residents enjoy home-like surroundings with remarkable amenities that showcase each community’s commitment to hospitality.   • Lisa Warnock

    Lisa is an accomplished interior designer with over 20 years of experience in senior living, multi-family, and hospitality. Lisa earned her BA in Interior Design at Marylhurst University. Since then, she's had much success as an interior designer leading various award-winning projects within senior living, multi-family, and hospitality. Lisa's extensive design knowledge, experience, and work ethic led her to multiple promotions earning the title of Principal, and most recently, Director of Housing Interiors at LRS Architects, where she was responsible for client management, business development, and the overall design direction of projects. In addition to her extensive interior design knowledge, Lisa is also a talented public speaker with the most recent speaking engagements at the 2021 EFA Conference. She is well recognized in the industry for her passion for championing better practices to serve our most vulnerable citizens. In 2020 Lisa was the EFA Design Champion for her innovation to improve the daily life of residents by incorporating lighting strategies that automatically distribute the proper color and output of light to improve comfort and safety. In addition to her design work, Lisa is a member of the Illuminating Engineering Society of North America and served on the Lighting for the Aged and Partially Sighted Committee. Awards:

    After studying graphic design at Pratt Institute in NYC, Tammy spent many successful years in advertising, sales, marketing, branding, and product distribution. During her career, she managed two international advertising agencies (one in New York City, the other in Sydney, AU). With these agencies, she was charged with facilities management, relocations, and tenant improvements. Tammy returned to school, graduating Summa Cum Laude from Northern Arizona University, with her degree in Interior Design. Since graduation, she has provided project design services for architects, interior designers, and commercial furniture dealers. Additionally, she prides herself on practicing a consultative selling approach, which enables her to deeply understand the challenges and objectives of each project. This understanding enables her to offer safe, affordable, and flexible solutions that allow companies to maximize their people, technology and real estate. She specializes in commercial, senior living, healthcare, education, and hospitality sectors. When not working, Tammy enjoys spending time with her family, her furry kids, traveling, studying British-Romano archeology, sailing, scuba diving and snorkeling.  
  • Kristin Hibler

    Kristin earned her Interior Design BA degree from Colorado State University. After spending over ten years as Design Director at a high-end residential design firm and most recently at Spectrum Retirement Communities, Kristin has joined Thoma-Holec Design as a Senior Interior Designer. For the past 25 years, she's built an impressive career in the design industry, from owning and running her own design firm to managing and growing other design companies. Kristin continues to reside in Colorado and enjoys baking wedding and birthday cakes professionally in her free time. Education: Colorado State University Bachelor's Interior Design Fort Collins, CO
  • Laura Pask

    Laura moved to Arizona in 2019 from Colorado and joined the Thoma-Holec Design team in August 2019 as an Interior Designer, bringing her extensive experience in space planning and kitchen and bath design to the team. She enjoys the mix of hospitality, high-end residential and commercial design features that are characteristic of senior living interior design. Laura earned her Bachelor of Arts from Colorado State University and Interior Design Degree from Arapahoe Community College. She finds inspiration from this quote designer by Robin Mathew, “Design is where science and art break even.” and is grateful to work with such a talented group of designers. Laura was raised in CO where she and her husband also raised two sons. When not at work, she enjoys tennis, hiking, biking and playing with their dog, Penny.     Javier earned his Bachelor of Science in Interior Design from The Art Institute of Houston and has led an impressive career in his 11 years as an interior designer in the Multifamily and Hospitality sector. Javier joined Thoma-Holec Design as a Senior Designer based out of Huston, TX. In his role, he will be responsible for making all selections for his projects, developing and managing budgets, and maintaining complete awareness of all project details to ensure projects stay on schedule and on budget. His creativity and expertise in conceptual design development, space planning, and all other technical aspects of design bring a different perspective and are an excellent addition to our design team.

    The first time Qingmeng started to learn drawing was at age 16. She practiced basic drawing skills for a few years, and eventually stepped into the interior design field of study. Before completing a Masters in Interior Architecture and Design in the spring of 2012, she worked on a few residential projects in China, but wanted to expand her professional skills in interior design, so Qingmeng came to the United States. Masters of Fine Art in Interior and Architecture – Academy of Art University, San Francisco and her Bachelor of Art and Design at Yunnan University, Kumming, Yunnan, China. She now enjoys her time with Thoma-Holec Design and looks forward to continuing her career and strives to give it her best on every single project.

  • Erin Aguilar

    After graduating from The Art Institute of Portland with a BFA Interior Design degree, Erin began her design career as a design consultant and later attained an Interior Designer position with LRS Architects, where she worked alongside the interior design teams within the Senior Living and Multifamily design studios. Erin is a strong multi-tasker and competent when handling multiple projects from pre-design, through construction contract administration while balancing deadlines and budgets at different stages. Erin's extensive experience in overseeing all phases of FF&E installs and scheduling multiple installers has made her an invaluable team member of our design team. EDUCATION B.F.A.     Cherie is a native Arizonian. After her high school graduation, she went on to attend the Moody Bible Institute in Chicago, IL. After one year of studies, Cheri transferred to Scottsdale Community College where her course of study focused on Interior Design. During college, she worked as a student intern at Habitat in their Model Home Merchandising Division. At completion of her internship, Cheri continued to work in the Model Home Merchandising division as an interior design assistant. Cherie earned her Associates of Art Degree in Interior Design at Scottsdale Community College. She is a dedicated and involved mother of three children. Her organizational skills, creativity and reliability allow her to multitask with her assistant design responsibilities as well as keeping up with her active family.

    In addition to being the first voice you hear when calling our office, Katie assists the designers with finish and furnishing selections, and creates all of the project presentations while maintaining the sample library. Prior to joining Thoma-Holec Design, Katie gained valuable experience as a member of the ASID North Chapter Co-Chair of Programs Committee and as ASID Scottsdale Community College Vice President. Katie earned a BA in Interior Design from Columbus College of Art & Design, and her Professional Level Certificate/Interior Design and her AA in Interior Design from Scottsdale Community College.
  • Breanna Cruz -Zamora

    Breanna joined the Thoma-Holec Design team in February 2021 as an Assistant Designer. In her role, she assists senior designers with all phases of their projects, including selections of finishes, furnishings, art, accessories, as well as creating color boards for clients. In addition, her experience includes space planning, procurement, material selections, FFE, and more. She previously worked with a high-end design firm that involved working with clients of a luxury resort-style living and a branded short-term vacation rental company with a start-up hospitality environment. Breanna earned her BS in Interior Design from Northern Arizona University and her AAS in Interior Design and Merchandising from Mesa Community College.

    Andie earned her Bachelor of Science in Interior Design at Arizona State University.     Courtney has joined our team as an Interior Designer. After graduating from the Art Institute of Colorado and receiving her degree in Interior Designer, she spent 11 Years in production home building of model homes, design centers, and sales offices with a focus on renovations. We are confident that Courtney's experience and knowledge will be invaluable to our design team. As a Designer, she will assist senior designers with all phases of their projects, including selections of finishes, furnishings, art, and accessories, and creating color boards for clients. Courtney shares that she loves to travel, cook, read, and play with her two dogs (mini dachshunds Lincoln and Olive) in her free time.
  • Leslie Snyder
    Senior Technical Designer

    Leslie began working in the model home industry immediately out of college but soon discovered a love for helping people heal through beautifully designed spaces. She has been working in the healthcare industry for 16 years and has a passion for bringing comfort to patients, families and staff members by creating spaces that are nurturing, peaceful and creative yet extremely functional. She has worked on all sizes of projects from small sales centers, Community Recreation Centers on up to large multi-story Hospitals. She loves seeing a project through all phases and has 20 years of experience putting together projects from Design Development, Construction Documentation on through Construction Administration. Her favorite part is walking into a space and hearing patients, family members and staff talking about how much a space has brought comfort and peace to their time spent in a facility. Leslie earned her Bachelors of Science in Interior Design at University of Arizona in Tucson, in addition, she completed a Summer Abroad Program at the Denmark Design School.

    After spending over a decade as a college professor and author, PJ joined Thoma-Holec as a Technical Designer in October 2021. Specializing in presentation and construction drawings, PJ earned Interior Design degrees from Endicott College (BS) and Suffolk University (MA), as well as a Doctorate in Cultural Art History from Warnborough College. A native New Englander, PJ continues to live in the northeast with her husband, daughters, and a dog.

    In her role as Onsite Coordinator, Cathie's prime responsibilities will be to coordinate with clients, warehouse, designers, and trades to ensure all aspects of the installations go accordingly to schedule. Cathie completed her Bachelor of Science degree in Interior Design from Arizona State University. She's worked primarily in commercial design in both AZ & CO and has eight years of project management experience.

With over 15 years’ experience performing accounting and bookkeeping functions for interior design firms; Carol is responsible for all internal accounts payable, receivables, and procurement tracking. Prior to joining Thoma-Holec Design she was employed at MGA Interiors and Habitat, Inc. in the accounts payable department.

    Paula has worked 25+ years in New York City within commercial interiors firms as a furniture consultant/project manager to large corporate clients. Projects included New York Public Library, United Nations Headquarters, Goldman Sachs NY Headquarters, Whitney Museum of American Art, Brooklyn Supreme + Family Courthouse. “Having spent my career facilitating design and servicing the end user market, I have lived my entire life on the East Coast and decided to move to Arizona 2015. I loved watching “the winter that was” on TV rather than outside of my own kitchen window. Eager to begin Paula: Part 2 in the Southwest. Free time with my family, reading non-fiction and trying to find places to just walk – without threat of snakes sharing my path.”

    Christopher has dedicated his career to the interior design industry resulting in over 30 years of direct experience servicing the trade showroom and high-end interior design firms. As the Procurement Assistant at Thoma-Holec Design, he demonstrates his expertise in customer service while working with clients and vendors to ensure the procurement process runs smoothly from start to finish. In addition to working closely with specifiers, craftsmen, tradesmen and delivery services, Chris is responsible for all data entry pertaining to orders, following up and scheduling.
